She graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine, completing a residency program at Jackson Memorial Hospital and UM affiliated hospitals as well as becoming a fellow in the ABFM. She has worked as a primary care physician and a geriatrician for over thirty years.

She is an excellent diagnostician and delivers medical care in a compassionate, caring fashion. Her areas of expertise include hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, dementia, and preventative health. She is extremely dedicated to her patients and develops a strong relationship with each of them. In her free time, she enjoys exercising and spending time with her four children and grandchild.
